Review of Easytobook.com

Easytobook.com is an accommodation booking site that  helps you find and compare cheap hotels and offers discounts of up to 80 percent off. They asked me to take their site on a test drive of their site.  For a long time, I’ve had a number one airfare booking site, but now I think I may have a go to hotel booking site. To be honest, I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but easytobook.com offers a lot of unique features that make it worth checking out for your next trip.

Starting off, it operates like many other hotel booking sites but right away there are some nice features that help with the process. The first thing that I love is that each property is accompanied by the rating and reviews from trip advisor, a very trusted review site. This is thanks to a partnership that easytobook.com has with tripadvisor. It’s really helpful and saves me the extra step of verify each places reviews before booking.

The next nice thing is the large number of filters and sorters available to use while searching. As you can see on the right hand side bar above, you can filter by price, rating, number of stars, etc. This makes it easier to find the place that best suits your needs while also seeing how many places you migh be missing if your being too picky.

However, by far the standout feature on easytobook.com is the compare functionality. The way it works is this: First you search as normal. When you see one you like or might be interested just check the box in the “compare column” as seen below.

Once you have done all your searching and checked the compare boxes of the ones you like, you can click the “compare” button at the bottom of the screen. This brings up the most amazing screen of my life. This screen gives you a side by side comparison of each place you’ve selected with the price, room type and photos. BUT it also gives you a map of the location with the distance of your potential hotel from the town center. In addition it gives you any bonus features like breakfast and wifi that will be provided by your hotel.

What this tool does, is it essentially allows you to compare places in a more meaningful way than a simple price vs price evaluation. You can take into account location and other features that will contribute to the overall value of your accommodation.

So final word is that you should go try it out. It’s free, easy to use, and should help you make some information hotel booking choices. I’ve added it to me new Travel Recommendation page, where you can the other products and services I like.
